About Frisco TX Real Estate

Frisco is one of the fastest growing communities in the U.S. As the Dallas Metroplex continues to grow Frisco is the newest city in the area to attain top desirability status and is one of the most popular Dallas homes for sale or homes for sale in Dallas searches. It is adjacent to Plano and the next major city north, the primary direction of growth as the Dallas Metroplex grows. Frisco real estate was undoubtedly "in the path of progress" when homes in Plano real estate became more and more expensive.
Being a relatively young city, it has many advantages over older cities. Homes are newer, property taxes are lower, and many of the city fathers came from Plano and have a goal to make Frisco a better place to live than Plano where ½ acre plus properties are hard to find. The largest shopping mall in Texas is located near its southern gateway at Preston and 121.

Frisco is a paradise for sports fans. The Frisco Rough Riders a Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, a major soccer league team, 17 full-sized tournament grade soccer fields, the Superdrome, an international cycling track, a state-of-the-art aquatic center and fitness facility and much more in sports. Golfers have their choice of three major golf courses.

A major boon to Frisco is the completion of the Dallas North Tollway from Highway 121 to FM 720, which is considered Frisco’s downtown Main Street. Frisco’s growth potential is perfect. It sits on the edge of the Dallas-Plano business center and there is a vast region northward for continued development.

The intersection of Preston Road and State Highway 121 is the Southern gateway to Frisco and is ten minutes north of Legacy Business Park, home of J. C. Penney, Electronic Data Systems, Murata Business Machines, Dr. Pepper, and Frito Lay. State Highway 121 is now open all the way to the DFW Airport, making the commute about 20 minutes from Frisco.

Many newcomers to the Dallas Metroplex are finding Frisco to be an ideal place to live, especially with the recent completion of the Dallas Tollway extension into Frisco. Frisco real estate has become one of the primary places to make your home with their exemplary schools, shopping, beautiful parks and other amenities. This is resulting in Frisco becoming one of the fastest growing cities in Texas and an absolute must for consideration when there is a search for homes in the Dallas Metroplex.
