Frisco Parks

It’s important to get out of the house and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Take advantage of one of the beautiful parks that Frisco has to offer. From small neighborhood parks where you can watch your children play to sprawling parks that offer recreational activities for all ages, you can find a park for your in Frisco.

J.R. Newman Park

On Twin Falls Drive is the 11 acre J.R. Newman Park. You’ll find ample playground equipment for the little ones, a sprinkler system that’s popular during the summer months and many shady places to enjoy a picnic or just an afternoon under the sun. There’s a basketball court for a quick pick up game. Sidewalk art is encouraged!

Shepherds Glen Park

Shepherds Glen Park on Shepherds Hill Drive is popular with walkers and runners. There are several well marked walking trails throughout this beautiful 14 acre park. There are also practice fields to kick or throw a ball around.

Ballpark Plaza

Beavers Bend Park

On Legacy Drive is Beavers Bend Park is 26 acres of trails, and grass to run around in. There’s a great playground as well as plenty of picnic areas. Popular with bikers because of the paved trails, you can enjoy a quick ride while taking in the natural wetlands scenery of Texas.

B.F. Phillips Community Park

If you are part of or know someone on the youth baseball and softball teams you will find yourself at B.F. Phillips community Park quite a bit. Located on 4th Army Memorial, this park is home to several baseball and softball fields as well as other sports fields and courts. With a full concessions stand, you can enjoy a game and a snack on almost every weekend.
